The Hog Line Pig pin is a die-struck soft enamel pin with black-coated metal and a rubber clutch. It has a length and a width of 0.875" or 2.25 cm at the maximum points. The character, a pig with a codename of Pork Reynolds that stuck, wears a mischievous smirk. Our thanks to Jon at Bearface Design for helping get these produced and to Robb Mirsky for the illustration!

One of the embarrassing curling shots that everyone has done is not thrown a rock far enough to cross the "hog line" and remain in play. The origin of "hog line" is a reference to a hog being a Scottish farming term used for a young lamb that was viewed as weak or susceptible to prey. In North America, pigs are sometimes referred to as hogs, which is how we arrived at this little piggie design!
